- This course is general professional education. It is not personal medical advice and it does not replace your own clinical judgement or the individual assessment of a patient.
- You remain responsible for the care of your patients. Always apply current guidelines, your own scope of practice, your local protocols, and the particular circumstances of each patient and family.
- Clinical knowledge changes over time. The course reflects Australian practice at the time each lesson was prepared. Please confirm details such as medicines, doses, screening tools, referral pathways and funding arrangements against current, authoritative sources before you rely on them.
- Taking this course does not create a doctor and patient relationship, a supervisory relationship, or any professional or legal duty between you and Dr Andrew Leech or The Garden Family Medical Clinic.
- Nothing in this course is legal, financial or regulatory advice.
- Continuing professional development: the course is structured with measurable learning objectives to support your CPD. Formal CPD recognition is being pursued and is not yet in place, so the course does not currently carry set CPD points. This page will be updated if that changes.
- If you have a concern about a specific patient, seek advice through your usual clinical channels. In an emergency, contact emergency services on 000.
By enrolling in and using this course, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer.
