PRIVACY POLICY
This note explains how we handle your personal information when you enrol in and use The Whole Child & Teen Clinical Masterclass. It sits alongside The Garden Family Medical Clinic's main privacy policy, and our handling of your information follows the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, and any profession or role you tell us.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed securely by our platform and its payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- Course activity, such as your progress, lessons completed and quiz results.
- Any messages you send us, and any comments or feedback you choose to share within the course.
How we use your information
- To give you access to the course and to manage your enrolment.
- To communicate with you about the course, including welcome messages, updates and support.
- To improve the course and understand how it is used.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Marketing
We will only send you marketing messages, such as news about new content or future courses, where you have agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise allows. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
Who we share it with
- Our course platform, Thinkific, and our payment provider, so that we can deliver the course and process payments. These providers may store information outside Australia.
- Service providers who help us run the clinic and the course, under appropriate confidentiality arrangements.
- We do not sell your personal information.
How we store and protect it
Your information is held within our platform and clinic systems, and we take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Because our platform is cloud-based, some information may be stored on servers located overseas.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy concern. Please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this note
We may update this note from time to time. The current version will always be available on our course page, with the date it was last updated.
